Non-organic vegetables and fruit are treated with chemical pesticides that you ingest when you eat them. To reduce your exposure to these harmful chemicals you can cleanse the produce with this simple and inexpensive homemade – all natural spray – which removes pesticide residues, dirt and microbes.
- 1 Lemon – preferably organic
- 1 cup Water
- 2 TBS – distilled White vinegar
- 1 spray bottle
- Slice the lemon and squeeze the juice into the spray bottle
- Add – 2 TBS white vinegar
- Add 1 cup water
Lemon and vinegar are natural disinfectants and additionally clean the fruit and veggies.
You are ready – just spray the produce, rub it in and rinse off.
